National Prescription Drug Take Back Day-April 27th!
Across the United States on April 27th, area law enforcement agencies will be working with citizens in their communities in providing a drop off point for unused  and expired prescription and over the counter medicines to be disposed of safely.  Locations will be set up in each area as drop off points for individuals who have medicines that are no longer needed or have expired.  This effort is in response to an increase in abuse of prescription drugs by individuals gaining access to a patient’s medicines without their knowledge.  Individuals are encouraged to never throw medicine in the trashcan ,...
